Your Questions - Answered

Getting Started

Q: I'm a complete beginner — is this for me?

A: Absolutely. All our classes cater to every fitness level. Our trainers provide modifications so you can work at your own pace. Many of our most loyal members started as complete beginners.

Q: Do I need to be fit to start?

A: Not at all. Our classes are designed for all fitness levels. You start where you are and build from there — that's the whole point.

Q: I'm nervous about my first class — is that normal?

A: Completely! Most of our members felt the same way. We're a friendly, welcoming bunch and our trainer will look after you from the moment you arrive. You'll wonder what you were worried about.

Q: What's the free trial?

A: Come and try a class for free! See if you love our studio, teaching style, and environment. There's no pressure to join afterwards — just come and see if we're the right fit for you.

Memberships

Q: Do you offer pay-as-you-go?

A: No, we don't offer pay-as-you-go. We need commitment from you so we can give it back 100%. Our entry-level Bronze membership starts at just one class a week — but real results need consistency and commitment from both of us.

Q: What are the membership terms?

A: Simple and flexible. Just 1 month's notice if you're cancelling. You can move up or down membership tiers whenever you like to suit your schedule.

Ages & Specific Needs

Q: What ages do you train?

A: Our group classes are for ages 16+. We also offer dedicated teen fitness sessions — contact us for details.

Q: Do you offer classes for children/teens?

A: Yes! Our teen fitness classes are small group circuit-style sessions designed to build fitness, confidence, and healthy habits in a private, secure environment. Contact us for age details and pricing.

Q: I'm pregnant — can I participate?

A: Our group classes include HIIT, resistance training, circuits, and boxing, which can be quite intense. For this reason, we don't recommend group classes during pregnancy. However, we offer personal training where Paul can create a safe, tailored exercise plan designed specifically for you during pregnancy. Please get in touch to discuss your options.

Q: I have an injury or medical condition — is it suitable for me?

A: It depends on the nature of your injury or condition. Please get in touch so we can discuss your situation directly. Paul can assess what's best for you and make sure you train safely and effectively.

Booking & Practical Info

Q: How do I book a class?

A: Use our online booking system to reserve your spot. You can also message us directly if you have questions.

Q: What should I bring to a class?

A: Just yourself, a water bottle, and a positive attitude. Wear comfortable workout clothes and trainers. We provide all the equipment.

Q: What time should I arrive?

A: Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your class starts. Our classes are spaced out so you have time to park and get settled, and we always start and finish on time.

Q: What if I need to cancel a class?

A: Life happens! Just cancel through the booking system with as much notice as possible so someone else can take your spot.

Q: Is there parking?

A: Yes, there's free parking directly outside the studio and on the surrounding streets. Please be considerate of neighbouring businesses and avoid blocking other units.

Q: Do you have changing facilities?

A: We have a toilet in the studio, and each participant has their own cubby hole to store belongings during class. We recommend arriving ready to train.

Additional Questions to Consider

Q: What happens after my free trial?

A: No pressure at all. If you loved it, we'll help you choose the right membership for your goals and lifestyle. If it's not for you, no hard feelings — we'll just be glad you gave us a try.

Q: Can I bring a friend to try a class?

A: Absolutely! They can book a free trial too. Training with a friend is a great way to stay motivated.

Q: What if I'm running late?

A: If you're more than 5 minutes late, we may not be able to let you join the class as it disrupts the session. Please let us know if you're running behind and we'll do our best to help.

Q: Do you run classes on bank holidays?

A: Bank holiday schedules vary — check the timetable or get in touch to confirm. We'll always give plenty of notice of any changes.

Q: Can I buy a membership as a gift?

A: Yes! A fitness membership makes a great gift. Get in touch and we can arrange a gift voucher for you.

Q: Do you offer any discounts?

A: We occasionally run promotions for new members. Follow us on social media or join our mailing list to be the first to know.

Q: What makes you different from a regular gym?

A: We're not a gym — we're a community. You won't find rows of machines and people with headphones ignoring each other. Every session is coach-led, every class is different, and everyone knows your name. You get real attention, real results, and real support.
